Welcome to Kiddy Cook – Cooking Birthday Parties
Fun, inspiration and education is what Kiddy Cook is all about, and our team are passionate about teaching kids and young people how to have fun with food. Whilst we all have different definitions of healthy, Kiddy Cook aim to use only the good stuff which means all of the recipes we choose to prepare with children taste fantastic. Most are good for us, and everyone of them makes us feel good after we’ve eaten it!
We deliver innovative, cross curriculum cookery workshops in school, teaching children the importance of healthy eating as part of a healthy lifestyle. Kiddy Cook also offer workshops and parties for preschoolers, children, teens and young adults, as well as delivering our children’s cookery theatre at food festivals across the UK.
Kids love birthday celebrations, and parties are a great opportunity to celebrate with amazing food. We’ve got some great ideas to help you make your child’s party, healthier, special, colourful, and fun – all with minimum fuss.
Our parties last approximately two hours and we have a range of options to choose from. We can come to your home address or a venue aranged by you and prices include party invites, ingredients and utensils, aprons to use at the party, wipe-clean recipe card and Kiddy Cook certificate for each child. We are very flexible so if you have any special requests we are happy to tailor our parties to individual requirements. We can also cater for food allergies, intolerances, likes and dislikes
Aimed at children who love cooking and like to experiment, they’ll make a pizza, dough balls and homemade garlic butter. They’ll experiment with bread bubble bombs and carbon dioxide rockets (that will explode at the end of the party)! And they’ll get to make edible goo slime to take home (although this slime is made from cornstarch and water, so there isn’t much to it as far as taste goes).
Please note the menu is specifically designed to link with the experiments and is not suitable for changing.
Our Kitchen science parties include:
- Party invites
- Ingredients and Utensils
- Goggles for use at the party
- Edible Goo Slime to take home
- Laminated Recipe Card for each child
- Kiddy Cook certificate
Make Your Own Lunch or Tea
We’ll bring the ingredients and utensils and help the children make their own lunch or tea. Recipes will include something savoury to eat at the party and something sweet to take home in their party bag! We have a range of recipes to choose from although our delicious homemade pizza with no added salt or nasties, dough balls and homemade butter remain firm favourites! This party lasts for 2 hours to include gastronomic experiments based around food and cooking.
For small groups of up to 6, this is a great idea for child foodies. Choose from a list of sessions, from Indian, Chinese or Italian cooking, to Eggs, Cheese or English Puddings. These can be done in your home and generally involve cooking two recipes which the children take home to eat.
Cupcake or Biscuit Making & Decorating
Choose from our amazingly delicious cake and biscuit recipes sweetened with fruits and berries for a naturally sweet taste and then use your creativity to decorate them once cooked. This party lasts for 2 hours to include gastronomic experiments based around food and cooking.
